With more than twenty years of trial experience, Heather primarily defends personal injury cases, including those involving catastrophic injuries. Representative matters include employer liability law and other work site injury claims, automobile and trucking claims, and product liability cases. Heather also has significant experience in defending first-party insurance cases involving commercial and personal lines PIP, UM, and UIM. She also handles complex industrial construction defect cases, property damage cases, landlord defense, and employment discrimination litigation. Heather has tried cases in both federal and state courts, and is regarded by opposing counsel and judges as an exceptional trial attorney of the highest integrity and fairness.
Heather is licensed to practice in both Oregon and Washington. She is a frequent speaker at Continuing Legal Education classes on litigation strategy and first-party automobile claims. Heather also serves as a Captain in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps, working in the Navy's Environmental Litigation office in the Pentagon.
